NWS
Elite has been existence since 1999 and has run the most successful 18U
and 23U programs in Western Massachusetts, as well as supporting Girls
Fastpitch programs at the Westfield Boys & Girls Club (in Westfield
Mass), in such areas as Fall / Winter Fastpitch Pitching / Hitting and Training Programs
as well as Softball Skills Clinics.

Elite's purpose is to provide an organization that promotes and utilizes
the game of Fastpitch Softball for the development of well rounded young
women, who will then be more able to meet life's challenges. And to use
our organization, as well as it's past and present members, to assist
these young ladies as they begin their adult lives. In particular, our
organization tries to focus
and assist girls at risk.
- What is NWS Elite's Tournament Team Philosophy?
NWS Elite has
built the first complete Tournament Team Program in Western
Massachusetts with Tournament Teams in age groups of 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U and 23U. (In
2011, NWS Elite has added a 14U, and 12U NWS Elite
Tournament level team(s) to our program).
The intent of
the NWS Elite Tournament Team "League" is to provide a complete growth path
for girls from age 12 -23 to play competitive Tournament Travel Softball, in one comprehensive organization.
In
addition, working with the Westfield Boys & Girls Club, it is NWS
Elite's intention to run "Fastpitch Training Programs", each
year from September - April, for the purpose of developing Fastpitch Softball pitchers,
catchers, hitters and fielders (in the age groups on 8-23 years old), who can then participate
in local Fastpitch Softball Leagues, local / tournament teams, or in the NWS Elite Tournament Travel Team
League, with a high degree
of success.
